DELIVERY AND COLLECTION
Wholesale cleaning supplies for Castleford, collected or delivered
Castleford is one of the closest towns we serve, 12.4 miles from the Hygieia warehouse in Selby. That changes what is practical: rather than waiting on a delivery, Castleford customers routinely ring the trade line, have an order picked, and collect from the trade counter the same day. If collection does not suit, orders placed before 2pm are dispatched the same day and delivered within two to three working days, Saturdays included.
The A1(M) links the two directly, and junctions 31 and 32 of the M62 put Glasshoughton, Junction 32 Outlet and the Ferrybridge industrial corridor within a few minutes of each other. Castleford carries an unusual split for a town its size — high-footfall retail and leisure at one end, heavy industry along the Aire at the other — and the two need very different chemistry. Both are orderable on one account, and both can be collected the same afternoon if a site runs short.

PRODUCT RANGE
Everything a Castleford cleaning operation gets through
Six core ranges, all held in stock at Selby, all available on the same trade account.
Paper and Washroom
Coreless and conventional toilet tissue, hand towels, centrefeed, dispensers and consumables for high-traffic washrooms that cannot run dry.
Chemicals and Degreasers
Washroom, floor, kitchen and surface chemistry, plus heavy-duty degreasers for workshops, production areas and loading bays that take real abuse.
PPE and Protection
Nitrile gloves, aprons, eye protection and workwear, stocked in trade quantities so a site never stands a cleaner down for want of a box.
Machines and Floor Care
Scrubber dryers, vacuums, sweepers, steam cleaners and carpet extractors from the brands UK contractors already specify and already service.
Parts and Accessories
Brushes, pads, hoses, batteries and filters for the machines you already run, so a breakdown costs you an afternoon rather than a contract.
Eco and soluCLEAN
Water-soluble concentrate sachets that cut packaging, pallet space and carriage, with the same dilution performance as ready-mixed chemistry.
SECTORS
Who we supply in Castleford
Castleford runs high-footfall leisure and heavy industry side by side. These are the operations that get the most out of trade pricing, a monthly account and a trade counter 12 miles away.
Cleaning Contractors
Independent and regional contractors covering Castleford, Pontefract and Normanton, ordering for several customer sites against one account.
Facilities Teams
In-house FM teams running retail, leisure and industrial sites who need predictable stock, predictable pricing and one invoice at month end.
Schools and Colleges
Primary and secondary sites across Castleford and the Five Towns, where term-time delivery slots matter as much as the price of a case of hand towel.
Healthcare and Care Homes
Clinics and residential care settings across the Five Towns, needing EN-compliant chemistry and cleaning that can be documented and repeated.
Industrial and Warehousing
The Ferrybridge corridor and the industrial estates along the Aire, where degreasers, scrubber dryers and bulk refuse sacks do the heavy work.
Retail and Hospitality
Xscape, Junction 32 Outlet and Glasshoughton, where washrooms take weekend volumes that would close a smaller site by lunchtime.
TRADE ACCOUNTS

PRICING
Why Castleford buyers pay less per case
Two things hold the price down: a range price-checked against the market every day, and a soluCLEAN partnership that takes the water out of the delivery.
PRICE-CHECKED GUARANTEE
Trade prices checked against the market, daily
We check major UK suppliers every day and hold our price below the market on every price-checked line — the fast-moving consumables that make up most of a Castleford cleaning budget: refuse sacks, centrefeed, nitrile gloves, microfibre, hand soap and washroom paper. The list is published in full and updated continuously, so you are not renegotiating the same case price every quarter.
PREFERRED SOLUCLEAN DISTRIBUTOR FOR YORKSHIRE
soluCLEAN is made in Castleford. We distribute it.
Hygieia Group is soluCLEAN preferred distributor for Yorkshire, and soluCLEAN is manufactured here in Castleford. One water-soluble sachet makes a full mop bucket, a 750ml trigger bottle or a scrubber dryer tank — a 10 litre bucket of hard floor cleaner works out at 20p, a 750ml bottle of all purpose cleaner at 70p. For a Castleford business, that range travels from one end of town to a warehouse 12 miles away and back again.
EQUIPMENT
Three ways to put a machine on a Castleford site
Buy it outright, spread the cost, or hire for a single job. Castleford is 25 minutes from the demo floor, so you can try the machine first.

Full manufacturer warranty, immediate ownership, and collection or delivery from our Selby warehouse 12 miles away.
Lease from £24 pcm
No deposit on machines over £1,000, terms of two, three or five years, same-day approval and delivery within seven days.

FOUNDER-LED SINCE 1991
Andrew Bodle
Andrew founded Hygieia Group in 1991 and still curates the range himself. Thirty-five years in UK commercial cleaning decide what gets stocked, what gets dropped and what is worth putting in front of a facilities manager. If you want a view on which machine suits a Castleford site before you spend, ask him directly.
